Voice of Wilderness is a Christian backpacking and retreat center specializing in spiritual refreshment, educational adventures, and physical challenges. Voice of Wilderness was founded by Chet & Bobbie Russell in 1973 and is currently based out of Mountain Light Lodge, located in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado.
Indian Summer Outfitters
Family owned and operated since 1988. 2001 North American Hunting Club approved outfitter. Offer fully guided archery, black powder, and rifle hunts on private land and National Forest. We also offer drop camps and Summer pack and high country fishing trips. In addition, we offer horse leasing. All guided hunts include first-class lodging, meals, and experienced guides.
Sportsman's Campground & Mountain Cabins
One of the most popular Pagosa Springs campgrounds, our campground was carved from the original Toner/Taylor family homestead by direct descendants of the Toner/Taylor family who still own and operate several of the working ranches in our area. Cattle are still moved and fences still maintained by workers on horseback just as they have for over 100 years. Development in our area has largely been limited because of the large percentage of national forest land and the proximity to the Weminuche Wilderness, the largest wilderness area in Colorado.

Fish Creek Outfitters (FCO) offers horseback wilderness adventures for hunters, fisherman, and sightseeing enthusiasts. We are located in the South San Juan National Forest East of Pagosa Springs (Unit 78) in southwest Colorado. Hunters may choose to hunt elk, deer, big horn sheep, turkey, and black bear in a number of different seasons including Black Powder, Archery, and 4 different Rifle Seasons. Fisherman will have a variety of trout species to choose from in the creeks, rivers and high country lakes that FCO has access to.

High Country Fishing Charters
HCFC offers guided Fly Fishing trips in the Pagosa Springs area and in North West New Mexico on the lower San Juan River. We specialize in instruction, with patient guides and proven progressions for the beginner Fly Fisherman. Our guides can also hone your skills for the more experienced anglers. Our trips are either 1/2 day, 3/4 day or full day on the water, depending what waters we fish. The 1/2 day is 4 hours on the water, the 3/4 day is 6 hours on the water and the full day is 8 hours. Trip time does not count drive time, but starts once we get to the river or trailhead.
