Matt Martin was born in America. That’s all you get because his dad was a Top Gun-level Navy pilot, which meant constant moves and more zip codes than most people have socks. They eventually landed in Dallas, where Dad traded jets for jokes at Southwest Airlines.
In high school, Matt got hooked on film and media. So he did the obvious thing and majored in Digital Media at a small college in Arkansas. Hollywood dreams, Ozark setting.
After graduation, he chased his most financially irresponsible idea yet: becoming a snowboard bum in Colorado. Twelve roommates, spaghetti dinners, and zero paychecks. Eventually, he made his way back to Dallas and built a real career in video production.
He worked The Masters for CBS, made docs on Guns N’ Roses and Whitney Houston, and helped produce The Wandering Golfer. A show about a guy who ditches his job to travel and golf. It hit home.
Matt later ran media for one of Texas' top school districts before diving into real estate headfirst. Now in Pagosa Springs, his favorite vacation spot turned hometown, he blends killer marketing with local expertise to help others build their dream life in the mountains.
Just don’t ask him to cook spaghetti. He’s done with that chapter.
